iOTA burst onto the Australian music scene in 1999 with the release of his debut album The Hip Bone Connection featuring the singles Triplespoon, Friends and Time. He quickly became a live performer of status netting him a strong grass roots following.

iOTA possesses a vocal range to die for. Quietly individualistic and a class act to boot, don’t be surprised if you see and hear plenty more of iOTA in the very near future. ~ Xpress Magazine.

His second album Big Grandfather featuring the singles Million Miles and Wooden Skeletons further cemented his position as one of the premier artists recording and performing in Australia. Acoustic driven and clean, the quietest of quiet spaces, dark melody opening up into muted rhythms, voice and guitar filling it before breaking out into punching straight bluesy rock. Way cool man.

In 2003 iOTA released his third album La Caravana featuring the singles Scars, Pockets and Pigs to more critical acclaim.

There’s nothing lower case about iOTA’s dramatic sound. With his riveting vocal range and mellow yet intricate guitar strummings, he has built a strong cult following. ~ The Sun Herald

2006 sees the release of iOTA’s fourth album, Beauty Queen Of The Sea. Co-produced by Tim Powles (The Church) and iOTA this album is far and away his best effort to date. While his past releases have been a hit with critics and music lovers alike this new album finally realises the promise of his earlier recordings.
